  • Year 7 Pizza Party

    Fri 03 Feb 2017

The Year 7 classes were very lucky to have a delicious lunch of pizza and cookies on Friday, 3rd February.

As a reward for the enormous amount of effort that the pupils (and staff!) have put in to the very busy 1st term in Year 7, Miss Dawson provided them all with a tasty treat!  Special congratulations to all those who took part in AQE and/or GL testing.  We have been very pleased with everyone's results and are very proud of all their hard work.

  • Dr. Bike Day

    Fri 03 Feb 2017
Dr Bike paid a visit to Braniel Primary School on Friday 3rd February. Emma from Sustrans Active Travel Programme was kept very busy carrying out safety checks on 52 bikes that were brought into School by our Pupils. Emma pumped up tyres, checked brakes, handlebars, saddles and pedals. A bike check record was then issued with each bike to identify what has been done and to inform Parents if any further repairs are needed. A huge thank you to Emma for all of her hard work today.
  • High Visibility Vests

    Fri 03 Feb 2017

All the Pupils in Braniel Primary School were very excited to receive their new High Visibility Vests that were supplied to school with funding from the Public Health Agency as part of the Sustrans Active School Travel Programme.

We know they will be invaluable in making sure we are seen and kept safe on our Daily Mile each day.
