C.S. Lewis Project
Our Year 7 pupils were very fortunate to be invited to participate in a C.S. Lewis themed project run by the Lyric Theatre and the Mourne Mountains Landscape Partnership. The pupils attended two Drama Workshops led by Drama coaches from the Lyric Theatre during which each class prepared a scene from "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe."
On Monday, 5th June, they headed off to the Lyric Theatre where they, along with partner school St. Bronagh's from Rostrevor, performed their scenes in the Naughton Studio. They also received a tour of the theatre and stopped off at the C.S. Lewis Square on the way home.
The project will conclude on Monday, 12th June, when our Year 7's will visit the home town of their new friends from St. Bronagh's and follow the Narnia Trail at Kilbroney Forest Park in Rostrevor.
What a great experience for our pupils and a fantastic way to bring the Land of Narnia to life!
