Braniel Footballers Fly Flag at Avoniel
Braniel's girl footballers were flying the flag at Avoniel this week and did so impressively once again.
Having strolled through the group stages, they were surprised and a little unlucky to find themselves a goal down. They had to dig deep and came up with a great equalizer to take it to dreaded penalties. Unfortunately, they were beaten by the eventual winners, Harding Memorial. The girls then picked themselves off the floor to play their best football of the day in the 3rd/4th place play off.
