Year 2
Welcome to Year 2!
We have two Year 2 classes, taught by Mrs Livingstone and Miss Calderwood. Have a look at all the fun things we have been doing so far this year!
We have been learning about transport! We have been carrying out transport surveys and then have collated the results into different types of graphs. We have loved finding out about transport long ago and using this knowledge to sort vehicles from the past and present. We even made cars and aeroplanes using junk materials. Being in Year Two is so much fun!
Year Two have been using their phonics knowledge to help them on a treasure hunt. We love being outside!
We entered a competition to design an Easter egg for Montalto Estate. Year Two used recycled materials to create flowers to decorate their egg. I'm sure you will agree it is fantastic!
We held a bun sale in school to raise money for Comic Relief. Our student council were in charge and organised the event. It was a fantastic day and we raised lots of money for such a great cause.
