Swimming Success!
Matthew Hand in Year 7 Cuthbert has done it again! Matthew has continued to build on his swimming successes in previous years by winning another gold and silver medal in the Ulster Schools Swimming Championship last weekend.
Due to his birthday being in August, Matthew has to compete against boys in their 1st year of Secondary School. In spite of this, Matthew amazingly won the Boys 12 years 50 m Breaststroke and came a very close 2nd in the Boys 12 years 50m Butterfly.
We are so proud of the incredible way Matthew represents Braniel Primary School. We wish him every success on February 17th as he has qualified to represent Braniel at the Irish Schools Championship. Good luck, Matthew!
